Quartz stone processing is a systematic production process whose core goal is to transform natural quartzite or quartz sand into high-purity, high-hardness industrial or decorative materials. This process primarily includes key steps such as raw material crushing, fine grinding, grading and screening, and cleaning and dehydration. Each step has a decisive impact on the quality of the final product. The selection and configuration of production line equipment must balance processing efficiency and energy consumption. For example, a jaw crusher is used for primary coarse crushing, a cone crusher performs secondary and fine crushing, and a ball mill is responsible for grinding the material to a fine particle size of 0.074-0.4mm. Modern quartz stone processing also emphasizes environmental protection and automation, using water circulation systems and intelligent control modules to reduce resource waste and improve stability. This processing method not only meets the demand for quartz stone slabs in the building materials industry but also provides key raw materials for high-tech fields such as photovoltaics and electronics.

The quartz stone processing process can be divided into four core steps: crushing, grinding, grading, and purification. During the crushing stage, large pieces of quartzite are coarsely crushed by a jaw crusher and then crushed to a particle size of 20-40mm by a cone crusher in preparation for subsequent grinding. In the grinding process, a ball mill is used for wet processing, and the material is refined into a powder of 0.074-0.4mm through the collision of steel balls. This process requires controlling the rotation speed and slurry concentration to avoid over-grinding. The grading system is equipped with a high-frequency vibrating screen to separate products of different particle sizes according to specifications such as 20-40 mesh and 40-70 mesh. The accuracy of the screen directly affects the uniformity of the finished product. Finally, a spiral sand washer is used to remove surface impurities, and then the water content is reduced to below 0.5% through a dewatering screen to ensure product purity and stability. Throughout the entire process, the equipment in each link must maintain production capacity matching. For example, the processing capacity of the crusher and ball mill should form a gradient connection of 1:1.2.
