Crusher performance plays a key role in the pre-processing phase of a cement production line, directly impacting subsequent grinding efficiency and energy consumption. Crushing requirements of up to 100 tons/hour are common in medium-sized cement plants or construction waste recycling projects, requiring a balance between production capacity and operational stability. Key considerations when selecting this type of equipment include material properties (such as cement block hardness and impurity content), required output particle size (typically ≤30mm), and energy consumption.

Currently, mainstream solutions include jaw crushers, impact crushers, and hammer crushers. Jaw crushers are preferred for primary crushing due to their simple structure and low maintenance costs, while hammer crushers are more suitable for processing recycled aggregates with high impurities. Furthermore, an integrated iron removal system can effectively prevent wear on subsequent grinding equipment caused by metallic impurities. This design has been proven in retrofit cases to significantly improve system stability.

For crushing 100 tons of cement blocks per hour, a PE-900×1200 jaw crusher is recommended as the core equipment. This model is designed for medium-hard materials. Its 900mm x 1200mm feed opening accommodates cement block sizes, with a maximum feed size of 750mm. Its processing capacity is consistently between 100 and 200 tons/hour, fully meeting target production capacity. The equipment utilizes a deep-cavity crushing design, optimizing the movable jaw's motion trajectory to achieve a crushing ratio of 10-15. The output particle size can be flexibly adjusted from 20 to 100mm, ensuring uniformity in subsequent grinding processes.

The core components, consisting of a heavy-duty eccentric shaft and high-manganese steel jaw plates, significantly reduce metal wear, extending the replacement cycle to over 800 hours. A PLC control system is recommended for intelligent adjustment of feed rate and crushing chamber load. Automatic shutdown protection when overload or abnormal vibration is detected has reduced equipment failure rates by 40% in similar cement plant renovation projects. For recycled cement blocks containing a lot of iron impurities, a pre-mounted suspended iron remover (such as the RCYD-8 model) can be used. Its 1500mm wide magnetic roller can effectively remove metal objects ≥5kg to avoid subsequent equipment damage.
