The 200 tons/day (TPD) gold processing plant belongs to the medium-sized beneficiation scale, which is suitable for small and medium-sized gold mining projects. This scale has achieved a good balance between investment cost, operating efficiency and technical feasibility. This article will introduce in detail the core process, equipment selection and operation management points of the gold processing plant of this scale.

Process flow design

1. Crushing and grinding

Coarse crushing: Use a jaw crusher (PE400×600) to crush the raw ore to ≤150mm.

Fine crushing: Cone crusher (PYB1750) further crushes to ≤25mm.

Grinding: MQG2100×3000 ball mill and spiral classifier closed circuit operation, grinding to -200 mesh (75μm).

2. Leaching and adsorption

Cyanide leaching: NaCN concentration 0.05%~0.1%, pH10~11 (lime adjustment), 48 hours leaching time.

CIP/CIL process: 6~8 grade activated carbon adsorption tank, gold adsorption rate ≥95%.

3. Desorption electrolysis and smelting

Desorption: high temperature and high pressure (Zadra method) is used to desorb gold-loaded carbon, and the desorption liquid contains ≥300g/t of gold.

Electrolysis: stainless steel cathode electrolytic cell, current density 15~20A/m², gold mud grade ≥60%.

Smelting: medium frequency furnace (100kW) smelts gold mud and produces gold ingots with Au≥90%.

Cost control: The cost of processing a ton of ore is controlled at US$5~6, with a focus on cyanide and electricity consumption.

Environmental protection measures: Anti-seepage treatment of tailings pond, cyanide degradation (SO₂/air method).

Automation: PLC controls key parameters such as grinding concentration and leaching pH value.
