1. When the throttle opening of the front and rear bearings of the ball mill equipment is large, the amount of oil injection increases, and the oil drifting from the spray hole to the hollow shaft will splash outside the oil ring and leak out from the felt oil seal. This also presents the phenomenon of oil leakage in the ball mill bearing. If this happens, we should properly close the throttle to ensure that there is no splashing.

 

Solution: However, the adjustment of the throttle opening must be performed by an experienced pilot, because if the throttle is closed to a certain level, the lubricating oil will be insufficient, and the temperature of the large bearing will rise. If the supervision is not thorough, it will cause the bearing to burn out.

 

2. After the equipment has been running for a period of time, some of the spray holes on the injection pipe are blocked by impurities in the oil. At this time, the oil pressure in the injection pipe rises, causing the flow of other unblocked holes to increase, and the oil flowing down from the spray holes close to the oil slinger ring will splash outside the oil slinger ring to cause oil leakage. The way to deal with this situation is to clear the blocked oil holes on the spray pipe in time.

 

Solution: Clear the oil spray holes, because if the throttle is closed again, the amount of lubricating oil will decrease again, causing the bearing temperature to rise. In this case, this method is not advisable.

 

3. The splashing of lubricating oil causes the oil slinger ring to leak, which is also a factor causing oil leakage from the front and rear bearings.

 

Solution: Add a relatively oil-resistant rubber plate between the oil slinger and the oil injection pipe, so that the oil will not be splashed outside the oil slinger during operation; in addition, users can also increase the diameter of the oil injection hole, so that the oil pressure is reduced and there will be no oil leakage.
