Granite is a hard rock with high hardness and strong abrasiveness, featuring high compressive strength and dense texture. It is difficult to process through crushing, which puts stringent requirements on the wear resistance, compression resistance and operational stability of crushers. Proper equipment selection and standardized crushing processes are the core keys to improving the quality of granite aggregates, reducing equipment wear and lowering production costs.

The two-stage crushing process of jaw crusher combined with cone crusher is widely adopted in the industry, which perfectly adapts to the crushing characteristics of hard granite rocks. As the primary crushing equipment, the jaw crusher crushes large raw stones by extrusion force, with large feeding capacity and strong impact resistance. It can process raw granite stones into semi-finished products of medium and small particle sizes, meeting the primary crushing requirements. The cone crusher performs medium and fine crushing based on the laminated crushing principle, which effectively reduces the flaky particle content of finished products and delivers uniform particle size and regular particle shape. Compared with impact crushers and hammer crushers, it has lower wear of vulnerable parts and is more suitable for processing highly abrasive granite.

Multiple core technical points need to be strictly controlled in practical operation. Before production, the feeding particle size shall be strictly controlled to prevent oversized stones from entering the crushing cavity and avoid equipment blocking and overload damage. During operation, uniform and continuous feeding shall be maintained to give full play to the advantages of laminated crushing and improve crushing efficiency. In addition, vulnerable components such as liners and rolling wall shall be inspected regularly and replaced in a timely manner when worn, so as to ensure crushing accuracy and equipment stability.
