The 2-meter diameter double-spiral classifier is a critical piece of equipment in mineral processing lines. It primarily utilizes the differences in settling velocities of mineral particles in a liquid medium to finely classify particles finer than 200 mesh; it is also widely used for dewatering and ore washing operations. These classifiers generally come in two types: high-weir and submerged. The former is suitable for classifying coarser particles (coarser than 100 mesh), while the latter excels at classifying finer particles (finer than 200 mesh).

This model boasts impressive core specifications. It features a spiral diameter of 2,000 mm, a tank width of approximately 4,280 mm, and an overall length of around 15 meters. Regarding the power system, the main drive motor typically has a power rating of 30 kW; coupled with a gearbox, it drives the double-spiral shafts to rotate at a speed of approximately 3.67 rpm. The spiral blades are usually fitted with wear-resistant white cast iron liners; during rotation, they not only convey settled coarse particles but also agitate the slurry.

Structurally, the equipment consists of a drive mechanism, left and right spirals, a tank body, and a lower support assembly. The double-spiral design ensures stable processing throughput: fine, light particles are discharged with the overflow, while coarse, heavy particles are lifted by the spirals to the discharge outlet. Featuring a compact structure and ease of operation, this equipment effectively enhances classification efficiency and the level of automation in mineral processing plants.
